One of the continual delights of our coven is that the people in it are so loveable, so honest, so amazing that I'm always happy to have them in our home, even if its a drop in for a few hours. Each of these people has been a gift in my life and I treasure them as family. Every phone conversation ends in "Love you", and its meant whole-heartedly. Since we're roughly 1.5-2 hours from most everyone in the coven, its really special when someone does drop in. Typically, we get overnights, and the Tryst Inn is ready for them, as well.

Definately NOT the experience I've had in more eclectic Wicca groups.

Anna just took off, having worked with my hubby on their upcoming ritual (presenting ritual is a requirement of our Outer Grove students). She brought me the most wonderful nettle tea (yeah, I'm hooked on it now), brought back materials she had borrowed from me (always a plus) and was affectionate to every furry in the house, while keeping up a warm conversation with everyone here. An absolute joy! You can definately feel the little hole she left when she left, but that's being filled up slowly with furry antics and male banter.

Speaking of which, Tom and Josh are at the chainmail sconce-making again for our circle. Me? I'm burning music CDs for friends of pagan music, so I'm out of the way. I'm also working on adding material to our shrine card set for the circle - always a nice thing to offer folks who want to use your circle for a few minutes, etc. So there's no pressure to have to know what you want to say or do, you can look in the box, pull out a 5x7 laminated card and go from there. Prayers, chants, rites, protections, purifications, etc. Good stuff.

I'm SOOOO anal retentive, eh?

and the Tryst Inn is ready for them, as well.

Ooohh let me know what pagan music you are burning. I am starting to look for pagan music and have come across some good stuff so far - Spiral Rhythm, Spiral Dance, Loreena McKennitt etc etc.

Well, darlings, here's a few of my faves (forgive spelling mistakes, I'm still drinking my first cup of coffee)

Loreena McKennit
Libana
Lisa Thiel
Laura Powers
Dar Williams
Coven 13
Starkhawk & the Reclaiming
Troika
Mercedes Lackey
Heather Alexander
Faith & the Muse
Capercaille
Inanna
Velvet Hammer
Incubus Succubus

Basically, I've found that two 700 MB disks can hold the majority of the music. You want to get on the music list, please understand I burn these as MP3 pc disks, i.e. with folders. Throw them on your pc and burn them anyway you like, I group them by either a) artist or b) theme, whichever I've deemed more important for my listening pleasure. Yeah, I'm like that.

I don't really need additional blank CDs, but could always use new pagan music. I also adore hippy music from the sixties and of course, eighties music. So I'm proposing a swap of tunes.

What say you?

I can do that ...

Can I get on a list to send a CD o' stuff to?

My computer recently died (hard drive turned to slag in a lightning storm ... bad for me, lucky for my wife ... mine died to protect hers ...)

long story short, lost everything ... the programs are no biggie, I just reloaded them, but 25 gig of assorted music is gone ... if you could just burn the mp3s to a disk ... and shoot it to me, that would be great ... I'd mail you back some blank CD's and a few extra for your trouble ...

p-p-p-p-please ???

And your coven mates......
