Incoming - new bunny

Coldest fricking weekend of the year and someone needs to drop off a rabbit. Another idiot Navy person, just got kicked out and flying home, cannot take bunny.

Update: After our counseling, it turns out this isn't quite so bad. All she really needs is a 3 week bunsitter. She and her kids really love him and want him back. So hopefully, we'll see him home safe and sound after their holiday trip.

Bugs is a cute little albino mini-lop, neutered, with his own cage and food. No problem. Picture goodness to come when he's had a chance to recover a bit.

It could be worse. They could have let the bun out into the wild.

So not such an idiot, since they contacted you, instead. :)

Turns out it's not so bad. I'll edit my original post. Turns out the woman really just needs a bunny sitter for 3 weeks, they very much want him back.

So now I've got a cute little neutered guy in the living room. No sweat.

I do hope they plan to make a generous donation in return for three weeks of bunny-sitting.

Oh yes, she is. We've already discussed it.

Made a decision today about accepting male rabbits from owners as we go forward - we will only accept neutered ones for free, unaltered ones will be accepted with a $100 donation to pay for their neutering.

Granted, it won't help the abandoned rabbit situation (like Sam), but it might help me. *WEG*
