The Movies We Never Tire Of

Among my favorites are the dear standards "Desk Set" and "Skirts Ahoy". Modern movies include "The Hunt for Red October" and "Nell", with a brief stop at "Stargate".

Looking at the above, one might rightly conclude I'm nuts. Which I why I won't mention that I've nearly worn out my "Constantine" DVD.

For reasons that are obscure even to me, I am unreasonably fond of the original version of We're No Angels. Perhaps it's the incongruity of Humphrey Bogart doing comedy. (He was, in fact, qute good at it, in an understated way. A typical Bogart line from the film: "You call this mass of unrelated mathematics a set of books? I got twenty years on Devil's Island for a better set of books than these!")
