Two new acquisitions

Toddler latches - to protect the cabinet contents from Flash. *WEG*

Emergency (hand crank) radio - this went into some bizarre man-geek level I can't even begin to understand. It has all these insane settings - alarms (both a wake up and a car alarm type thing), strobe blinker, flashlight, cell phone charger, iPod charger, and yes a AM/FM radio. Now Josh wants one for each car, both sheds, the house, etc.

I cannot believe that you would deny Flash access to your cabinets. I mean, how is he going to dump the pots and pans out on the floor and bang on them with spoons like a trap set, if you actually secure them?!

Oh, and could you comment on the picture? I know that the cats can't get enough of themselves in the mirror, but what the Hell was Flash doing? Trying to catch a mouse?

My concern is typically for the garbage cans, as he has not (yet) gotten into the pots & pans. Wouldn't put it past him, as I figure the minute I outlaw a few cabinets he's going to zero in on the others.

As near as I can tell, Flash was bowing before Fudge (the big black cat), while Libby looked on in disbelief.

And meanwhile, Toby is pondering this whole Frances-lamb-the-housepet thing. I don't think that he has a real conclusion there. Wonder what Flash would think....

Flash, like all Frenchmen before him, would fall in love.

Kid-proof stuff is GREAT for pets!

What kind of radio did you end up getting? My last emergency radio kicked the bucket and was only battery-powered anyway.

(I do have a hand-crank flashlight with siren and radio features, but the charge doesn't last very long.)

It's a Life Gear.
