Having a heat wave

Another day in the high seventies - ugh. Western Washington is *not* supposed to be this hot, it's pure misery since so very few businesses or homes have air conditioning. Mine included. I'm fortunate since our home is under a tree canopy, so we stay fairly cool. But it's still too hot. Poor Gracie, I had her shaved down yesterday so she's at least minimally more comfortable. Hopefully she won't get any heat rashes this year. Had the boys cleaned up, nails trimmed, etc. Doodle is actually white, again! Someone remind me not to rescue another white dog, will ya?

Temperatures are due to drop Friday back down to normal, bringing rain with it. *cross fingers*

No rain until after Saturday. I'm sorry hun, but I have to insist. We have market on Saturday and it really sucks when it rains :P

Definitely ridiculous. If I wanted this kind of heat, I'd have moved back to Arizona! Hottest day I recall their was 128F.

Um I tried, to warn ya about white animals.
Tom was out telling Seewind the arab that he was a supposed to be white, Seewind lifted his tail and shat.

Could you send some of that heat my way? I don't think we broke 60 degrees here in Indiana today. And it's been raining and occasionally hailing since last night.
