Spent a few hours at the farmer's market yesterday afternoon with Brenda. Managed to buy some fabulous locally made organic cheese, great bread and a half dozen truffles (also locally produced). Dinner afterward at a local Chinese restaurant with Tiger & Jim. I'll be eating leftovers the entire weekend!
I bought a few succulents for the pots on the front porch, which I planted this afternoon. Both are quick growth varieties that require a lot of sun, thankfully we have a south facing porch. I'm told both are very hardy, which they'll have to be to survive my black thumb.
The Freeloaders (aka ducks) are doing great. They've taken over one of the broken rabbit isolation pens as their own. Which is quite funny, really. No eggs, grr.
