Kitchen Painting Pics
Jan. 18th, 2010 12:42 pmPardon the crookedness of the pictures, I didn't realize I was standing with my hip cocked (as I tend to do when exhausted). Oy. My kitchen looks drunk!
We had never been particularly thrilled with a full neutral kitchen and wanted a color to really highlight the marble countertops. And I've always hated the color on the walls, it looks like old Silly Putty to me, but it does look pretty good with the dark cupboards. Hmn.
The oven (soon to be replaced), with cupboards:

I adore the color (Behr's Black Suede) and realize we're going to have to jazz up a few things to really finish it off: new kitchen clock in chrome or similar, more plants in the windows, and matching linens.
