Hilarity Ensues

Libby almost fell in the duck pond.

She was trying, I think, to get the solar floatie ball.

Really, it's only a matter of time before she actually falls in.

But were you naked at the time? That's what I want to know. (Per your last post, of course.)

It turns out she only fell in up to the pond liner, it looked worse than it was from my perspective. Her paws are wet, but otherwise she's fine.

Practically so. I was changing from yard grubbies to street clothes.

The Horned God is in fine form this year.

Of course it is. And when she does, and you rescue her, she will make it perfectly clear that it's all YOUR fault.

The only way I'm saving her is via the pool net. Because really, reaching in and grabbing a pissed off cat is not my kind of smart.

No arguments from me about the wisdom of trying to grab a wet, pissed-off cat. Which is why I used to keep a set of combat engineer barbed-wire gloves around the house.

Of course, none of this will make it any less your fault in Libby's eyes.
