Monday Blues

I'm feeling slightly under the weather, so taking it easy today to recuperate.

I've hired yet another landscaper and he's due at noon to begin tackling the blackberry bushes and weeds today. He's a big burly teenager, with stained hands from working on his truck. His stepfather is a state trooper and has raised this young man with an excellent work ethic. He'll be coming this weekend to help Josh move the fence and run the branches through the wood chipper.

Best yet, he's a hunter and would be happy to process our ducks for a share in the meat. Yay!

I wish him luck with those blackberries... sometimes I think you need to go after the suckers with nuclear weapons to get them to leave.
