trystinnJosh bought me a cute set of blue galoshes, complete with ponies. They not only have very thick soles, they have marvelous ankle support. And did I mention the ponies?
I've completely rewired the entire Duckgard/Bunhalla/Cheekinheim. *slump* And yes, I screwed up - white lights on one side, yellow in the middle and far side. Guess what I'm going to fix tomorrow? These lights are on a timer, thankfully, so they'll just pop on and off at the appointed times. Whether this light strung along the fencing between Duckgard & Bunhalla is enough to keep the ducks laying all winter, remains to be seen. I went ahead and ran a line should we need a light in the duck nesting shed (which they barely use).
I've also installed a nightlight with sensor in the top of Cheekinhenge so the cheekins have a cheery light, which should help with laying now that I've two redneck-fabulous temporary nesting boxes made up of plastic littler containers - why we have Tidy Cat litter containers, I refuse to wonder about. During the colder snaps, which I'll be able to track via our digital remote temperature station, I can swap out the sensor night light for a heat lamp. Oh yes, I can. I now wield ultimate power, Buhawahahahaha! *cough* excuse me.

In other news, I have now ordered magazine subscriptions & holiday gift wrap from nearly every kid who comes to play with the rabbits and ducks.
