Unexpected Cheekins

I really hadn't thought I'd enjoy the cheekins so much, but I have. Unfortunately, the gals have completely figured me out. Checking for eggs earlier this week, I was chagrinned when Ruby jumped up on my shoulder and sat there watching me search the nesting boxes. Before I knew it, Scarlett ran up my other arm, over my shoulder, down my back and hopped off my tush to forage happily with the duck flock.

Should you ever wonder about your place in the world, spend some time with poultry. They'll sort you out quick!

In the meanwhile, I've got the ick. Doctor appointment pending tomorrow afternoon.
