Josh and I are moving slowly through his week of leave, so far we've managed to get in the grocery items for Thanksgiving (I'm sure we've forgotten something) which is a very good thing as Josh keeps inviting people over. We're now having 6 folks over, which means I need to sit 8. I don't have 8 dining room chairs - I only have 4, so it's BYOC.

Yesterday we managed to completely frame in the chicken coop. While Josh made the door, I fenced in either side of the doorway. We've built the perches, have procured two very cute white drawers for nesting boxes and will hopefully be able to find a roll or two of linoleum on FreeCycle for the flooring. We'll likely get the door hung today, re-wire the lighting and call it good for now. To come, painting and making chicken doors.

Mum sent a huge box of sweaters - about two dozen, so I'll be going through the closet and making room for them all. My Dad provided a bit of a chuckle this weekend, a really old picture of me. Gods knows where he found it!

Yeppers, that's a bunny. My folks used to take us to a farm every Autumn, I'm thinking that's where the picture was taken.

Oddly enough, I still look fairly similar to this picture at nearly 40. Same chubby cheeks, same smile (though straightened teeth) and same carmel-brown wavy hair).

Thank you, we were quite the little hippies in New York. :)

I'm thinking this was at a farm we used to visit every Autumn, it sure doesn't look like any bunny we had growing up.
