We've got a blow

Another Whidbey winter windstorm. The ducks are safely tucked away in their pen, the rabbits in theirs and the coop is latched up tight. Hex is running around in the hallway, a toddler gate across the front so Doodle cannot bother her. Libby is napping in her kitten tent, Flash is supervising Hex and Gracie is cashed out on the leather chair.

All is right with the world. It's a nice feeling.

Thank you for taking Hex in. She is such a darling girl and I know she will be happy with you, at least until someone else falls in love with her and takes her home.

She is a very special girl, we're having a ball with her. Literally, she's running up and down the hallways playing with a couple of Libby's cat balls. :)

I'm going to do my best to keep her, I just worry she won't get enough attention especially when I head to graduate school.

I've given her fresh greens, pellets, hay and we'll be putting her in a larger cage this weekend. I wanted to give her time in her own cage so it wasn't too many changes all at once.
