Someone asked me about NLP (neuro-linguistic programming, and I realized I had some material (and a freebie download I've barely looked at), so here's a sample:

people generally look:
* up and to your right (as you look at them) when thinking about a remembered image
* up and left when constructing an image
* directly right for a remembered sound
* directly left for a constructed sound
* down and to your right when having an internal dialog with themselves
* down and left when experiencing feelings

Now, now you know what they're seeing, hearing or feeling - so you can match your speech to what they are experiencing to better communicate to them. Very useful for when you need someone to get something done.
