Learning and Growing
The intimacies of family dictate that whatever weird health obsession I've decided to try, everyone else is stuck going along with my dastardly plan. Granted, Josh is off in the Big Blue so its just the poor dogs and Libby at present.
My current obsession is active culture yogurt. I have it for breakfast and typically lunch, as well. Seems to have finally sorted out my digestive system, which is why I'm sticking to it. Its hard for three dogs to beg yogurt, as you might imagine, but they are. These three fairly well behaved dogs are now lined up, drooling and giving me the most poignant puppy dog eyes. Over yogurt. I'm sure somewhere in the world, their dog passes are being revoked.
Its a bit more intense when I drink Kefir. The furkids are all gonzo for Kefir. Should I leave a glass unattended, I will return to it mysteriously empty. Same with yogurt containers. I've never seen dogs swipe yogurt containers like this. Related or not, now that the dogs are getting a bit of yogurt, they are much more interested in mealtimes. Crazily so. Might be the new Lamb & Rice formula, though. Who can tell?
I completely understand this, when I get to dinner, I'm so desperate for something I can actually, yanno, chew. I should experiment a bit with adding crunchies (maybe Grape Nuts?) to yogurt to get some kind of chew factor involved, but honestly I like regular plain Vanilla for its smoothness. Why mess with a good thing?
