Many things really: There's no community here and what exists on the Mainland isn't really appropriate. We're ready for a change and I'd really love to be closer to our families, especially as our parents age and our nieces are growing up. We'd like to get into farming in a bigger way, which given land prices here isn't really possible. Josh can make more money working in the military industry in the Southeast and there's certainly more motorcycle riding days there than here!
Plus, I'd really like to be somewhere with a Ph.D. program worth attending.
