Yesterday, Josh and I went to the Penninsula (crossing by ferry, naturally) to get his eyes checked for possible PRK surgery. Turns out his vision isn't bad enough, which we expected but we did enjoy a wonderful day with him side-seat driving from the passenger seat while I gritted my teeth after the third "suggestion" within a mile. Eye dialation is fun for the whole family!

So, yes, pic-y goodness!

And no, Fudge didn't relieve himself in the paper recycling bin but doesn't it look like he was going to??? Maybe we need to reconsider the location of the paper bin, if this is going to be an issue.

That is all, for now"

Yeah, Tracker looks really angsty in that pic.

As you can see, the doggies truly suffer when we go out of town for a day. Geesh, that Tracker - we should have named him Don Juan.

How heartbreaking, him being forced -- forced -- to snuggle with someone else!

You are meeeeen to that dog and it totally shows.

ROTFLMAO

As I type, he's stretched out on the sofa looking at me through the office entry, all tucked up in his binky (blanket) that my MIL made him, resting his head on a pillow.

He's spoiled.

at least when yours is on the sofa, there's still a little room for a human. Not so at my house!

Well, he has been known to take up the entire 3-seater, but generally speaking, there's room for at least one human and another dog if we make him curl up.

Folks just cannot imagine how a Basset Hound could be this HUGE. I mean with Otto, you expect a Great Dane to be big!

I can imagine a basset being huge. After all, they're large dogs that just happen to have very short legs.

Generally, a basset is around 30-35 pounds. Tracker is 94 pounds. Generally, bassets are 3 feet in body length. Tracker is 4 feet.

He has giantism, though he takes thyroid meds to keep him from growing anymore!
