Penninsula Pics
Feb. 9th, 2006 11:08 amYesterday, Josh and I went to the Penninsula (crossing by ferry, naturally) to get his eyes checked for possible PRK surgery. Turns out his vision isn't bad enough, which we expected but we did enjoy a wonderful day with him side-seat driving from the passenger seat while I gritted my teeth after the third "suggestion" within a mile. Eye dialation is fun for the whole family!
So, yes, pic-y goodness!
"A few hours past sunrise at the ferry dock:

Clouds racing over the marshes:

The north side of the bay:

Your guess is as good as mine, frankly:

Home, at last, where the dogs have been in the gracious care of Danielle:

The beautiful afghan Danielle made me for my birthday:

Trouble on the horizon:

And no, Fudge didn't relieve himself in the paper recycling bin but doesn't it look like he was going to??? Maybe we need to reconsider the location of the paper bin, if this is going to be an issue.
That is all, for now"

Date: 2006-02-09 08:24 pm (UTC)As I type, he's stretched out on the sofa looking at me through the office entry, all tucked up in his binky (blanket) that my MIL made him, resting his head on a pillow.
He's spoiled.

Date: 2006-02-09 09:02 pm (UTC)Folks just cannot imagine how a Basset Hound could be this HUGE. I mean with Otto, you expect a Great Dane to be big!
