trystinnA friend just laughed at me on YIM, letting me know that my postings did not include any info on the house we are buying vs the house we decided not to accept the counter offer on.
Its a beautiful home on a 1/2 acre VERY wooded lot, roughly 1456 sq feet, 3 bedrooms (okay, 2 bedrooms, one study) with the most gorgeous master bath I've seen yet on this island. Currently painted yellow (ack), but soon to be boasting a new coat of paint to a more NW color scheme with a Japanese-Shinto facade out front, complete with pond and water fall. We're going to put a garage in at the northeast corner of the property (back leftmost corner as you look at the house). I've got a few plans for a stone circle, a meditation shrine, etc. Some day, Gods willing, Josh & I will be running our own BTW coven and will need the house set up. That 2nd bedroom is going to come in REAL handy as an indoor ritual and Craft room. Lots of things happening this summer, lots of long term goals coming to fruition in June, July and August. Folks who read this already know about the handfasting, wouldn't want to ruin the surprise, but there's a hint earlier in this paragraph.
And just because I haven't mentioned this, either - HAVING RICH PARENTS ROCK!
Seriously, not to brag here, but the elopment gift to Josh & I is now over ten grand - the 2nd check came today for help with the closing costs, fencing, new facade, etc. More to come at the handfasting in June. Geez, and to think a few ex-boyfriends hated my parents having fundage. I'm so unbelievably grateful for all their support - starting to feel a tad guilty for those long therapy sessions in my youth...gulp....
Josh & I's full moon ritual was fabulous. Having your priest be your husband is one of the greatest joys in a priestess' life, I've found. Wait, there's a tie here: Marrying your best friend, who is also your priest.
Yikers...could it be that all this is a cummulation of gifts from the Gods for finally doing Their will?
