Updates on a few things...

The interview went great, now I've to wait on the Owner's wife calling me for a telephone interview next week. Dawn is looking to replace herself, she's ready for her next adventure, so I could start out in the optical lab and work up to Office Manager in 6 or so months.

Thanks to Anna's adoption/rescue of Ash - Josh has decided a few more bunnies would be just brilliant, so we may be getting two English Angoras to add to the Menagerie. Yippy! For those who don't know what an English Angora rabbit is - think the Fluffiest bunny in the world.

In other news, I'm off to the mainland for coven class. There may be really exciting news this afternoon, but just in case things don't work out today, I'm keeping this under my hat for now. Straw sun hat, if anyone's wondering.

Further "news" updates are now going to be delayed until Lammas, for both the sake of my nerves and to complete an entire year's cycle for First. Agreed upon by all parties, with some relief on all sides.

I've got thing figured out in my head, now I need to get them settled deeply in my heart. That's going to take more time, practice and experience. More of all three would be lovely.

In my world, a year and a day is a *minimum*. Most folks aren't anywhere near ready for more than two full cycles.

You don't need 2* until you're ready to teach. Take your time, do the full participation which 1* brings to you. You have your whole life to advance, if you need to advance -- and not to if you don't! (It takes a 3* to realize how hard a 1* works.)

Somedays, I get the feeling my Elders would appreciate a little less "participation" from me and a bit more "quiet contemplation". I'm also going to work on this fabulous phrase: "Why don't you ask the Elders about that?" when the other Firsts asks me questions.

So another month's worth of QC all around :)
