Bad timing and other woes

Given that my menstrual cycle is really out of whack without BC pills, I'm trying to remind my grudge-holding little heart that I can put up with getting my period a week early yesterday for the chance of getting pregnant next month. Cramps, aches, heavy flow - the whole enchilada - not fun stuff when I *should* be looking for another job. Which I am, in a sort of half-assed way since I'm frankly rather enjoying having some time off. I'm rather determined to find another telecommuting job, if at all possible, I'm not up to joining another office with all the drama and politics.

I realize a lot of this is probably due to stress, but excusing it isn't helping. As much as I realize Danielle is an adult and the couple who chose to drive down and get her are EXACTLY what she needs right now (I'm as likely to give her a good thumping and lecture as anything else), I'm still worried about her.

Ahh, well, another covenor is coming by to run errands in Oak Harbor, so I should go change into outdoor clothes.
