Which absolutely annoys the hell out of me as I've been planning to read "Witchcraft Lives" by Doreen Valiente now that I finally got my hands on it.

I'm not sure if its my age or just stess, but I've never gotten migraines the way I have in the last year.

I remember when having one a year was too many. Sorry to hear you're having them, too. Misery loves company?

yeah, this year has been bad for me too. i suspect the mold count, frankly.. but its hard to judge because last year i was dealing with the ex business partner, and having migraines EVERY WEEK from stress.
misery doesnt love company. JOY loves company.
personally i wouldnt wish my headaches on my worst enemy.

here is hoping you feel TONS better. in the meantime, push vitamin b, and get someone to help you bleach any spots that harbor mold...
if you want to contemplate fun stuff... i just got in the shipment of yarn from SOYSILK and i am having a sale on jet beads....wish i felt really enthused, but the yarn is helping...

ah. well i sell amber and jet beads.. which is how i met people in the BTW community. instead of the other way around >grin<
right now i am having a sale on certain shaps of beads that i have overstock of..... i do intend to have jet beads in the future, i have carried them for years.. but i am dependant on ONE cutting factory, so i get nervous about long term supply and buy in bulk.
right now i have way tooo much in these styles:

a victorian style faceted round. about 8-10 mm usually $50, currently $25

my "grab bag" of chip and scratch i have some bicones, a few cubes, and some plaques (flat rectangles, drilled lengthwise) and some that look like "bone pipe" all on sale for $10 each. most have on ebead that is chipped or scratched badly.

i do have others not on big sales right now.. so if you want rounds, or rondells, or twists, or barrels, just let me know.
all strings are 16 inches, give or take a few mm.
i also have amber beads of course. big sale on the butter colors right now.. but i have the other types as well.

all my jet and amber is guarenteed to be: the real thing, not mixed with resin (ambroid), and fully returnable if any testing ever shows any problems. i stand behind all my products. My jet is real jet, not black stone, not dyed , not something black, not glass... JET, a fossil materiel related to coal.
all my amber at this time is Baltic, 100% pure amber, no resin mixed chips.. and has likely been heat treated to bring out color.
assume all green amber cabochons has been heat treated, and then coated on the back to increase depth of color. but no resin was ever mixed into the amber itself.

Sounds great - I'll be looking for round amber beads, no facets, dark gold colored amber if possible. No bone.

Try tracking the migraines in relation to your cycle.

No idea. Last time I had them checked I was told they were "normal". I'll start tracking them against my cycle, thanks for the suggestion.

I had hormonal migraines as a teenager, and then they resurfaced with a fury when I went peri-menopausal. Last month, before we switched the therapies I'm on, they resurfaced again.

I'm thinking it probably does. I've noticed that the other 2nds are in the same boat emotionally. One of them is so amazingly funny - she keeps getting into snark sessions with folks right before ritual, then calling the day after to beg our forgiveness. When I tell her its fine and I wasn't bothered by it that sparks another snark until I agree that what she did was horrible and forgive her just to get her to calm down.

I'm really *not* bothered by it as I figure she'll grow out of this phase soon enough and she's such an amazing person you can't really hold a grudge in any case. Its an odd situation to find myself suddenly the calmest person in the coven and folks are calling me constantly to forgive them. *WEG*
