Too much cuteness!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[identity profile] tryst-inn.livejournal.com 2007-01-19 01:48 am (UTC)(link)
We suffer from "overcuteitis" around here.

Serious conversations are almost always cut short around here, with someone saying "Oh my Gods, will you look at that?" then everyone being distracted by the cu-yoot-ness.

[identity profile] bunnsidhe.livejournal.com 2007-01-19 01:48 am (UTC)(link)
*cuteness overload*

I should be asleep. We have some guests arriving from Denmark and their plane was delayed (we've been having some severe wind storms over here). I just wish they'd get here already. So thanks for the cute pictures because I am really bored at the moment! I like how the lab looks like he has that basset in a choke hold.

[identity profile] tryst-inn.livejournal.com 2007-01-19 01:51 am (UTC)(link)
Gunner (the lab) and Flash (the little basset) are best friends, and this was a very rare moment when they weren't running around, wrestling or actively engaged in licking an elder dog.

Best wishes on a safe arrival! If you've got YIM, I'm available to send you some pagan books via PDF and music as a nice distraction.

[identity profile] bunnsidhe.livejournal.com 2007-01-19 02:18 am (UTC)(link)
I don't have YIM. :(

They just called for directions to the house. They're about a five minute drive away.

Tomorrow I'll get to see two men talk about the glory of Odin and compare Thor's hammers over beer (Danes are strange).

[identity profile] tryst-inn.livejournal.com 2007-01-19 02:19 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, Danes are strange, but then so is everyone else.

Around here, the guys compare guns and chainmail patterns.

[identity profile] rstormcrow.livejournal.com 2007-01-19 01:00 pm (UTC)(link)
around here it's the comparison of the size of athames

[identity profile] tryst-inn.livejournal.com 2007-01-19 06:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, I win the giant athame award around here. *snort*

[identity profile] bunnsidhe.livejournal.com 2007-01-19 08:53 pm (UTC)(link)
They really did compare Thor's hammers today..in a restaurant. At least Peter didn't take off his shirt to show-off his Odin tattoo complete with ravens and wolves.

[identity profile] tryst-inn.livejournal.com 2007-01-19 09:06 pm (UTC)(link)
I can well imagine. I've no tattoos to compare, which probably keeps me out of the fray.

My hubby collects scythes. Yes, he does. Has about a dozen so far. Go figure.

[identity profile] bunnsidhe.livejournal.com 2007-01-19 10:50 pm (UTC)(link)
My husband has no tattoos, so Peter beat him in that respect--but it turns out that his Thor's hammer is bigger than Peter's Thor's hammer.

Then I told them I am tired of hearing about Thor and Odin. Loki is the man.

[identity profile] tryst-inn.livejournal.com 2007-01-19 11:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Loki, Loki he's our man, if he can't do it Coyote can!

[identity profile] bunnsidhe.livejournal.com 2007-01-19 11:12 pm (UTC)(link)
I would suggest some pink pom-poms for that little number, but since you hate pink....

I really don't have pink pom-poms. I swear.

[identity profile] taqaisenu.livejournal.com 2007-01-19 01:52 am (UTC)(link)
Aiyee, how cute!!

[identity profile] tryst-inn.livejournal.com 2007-01-19 01:54 am (UTC)(link)
I try to do this no more than once a month, because really, how many pictures of sleeping pooches and bunnies starting at the camera can people stand? LOL

[identity profile] taqaisenu.livejournal.com 2007-01-19 02:03 am (UTC)(link)
Cant say about anyone else, but I know that if I don't get my morning dose of cuteness, I'm crabby for the rest of the day!

[identity profile] tryst-inn.livejournal.com 2007-01-19 02:05 am (UTC)(link)
I know, I know, I go there, too!

[identity profile] rainbear.livejournal.com 2007-01-19 02:45 am (UTC)(link)
Teh Ky00tness--it burnssssssss!!!! ;-)

[identity profile] wild-heart.livejournal.com 2007-01-19 03:18 am (UTC)(link)
Personally, I think I could withstand a 2x weekly dose.

[identity profile] tryst-inn.livejournal.com 2007-01-19 03:20 am (UTC)(link)
Yes ma'm, will do.

You just be careful what you ask for, given that I've asked the Powers That Be (aka my parents) for a video camera for my birthday!

[identity profile] wild-heart.livejournal.com 2007-01-19 03:30 am (UTC)(link)
My furbeasts are cute, but Izzy is so black as to be unphotographable, and how many pictures can I take of Bill?

Not everyone thinks Jay and Evan are cute, and I know *I'm* not. It's up to you to carry the cute load.

[identity profile] tryst-inn.livejournal.com 2007-01-19 03:31 am (UTC)(link)
With a black rabbit, black dog and black cat - I know your pain.

I will carry the load graciously. How about some wild cottontail baby pics?

[identity profile] wild-heart.livejournal.com 2007-01-19 03:38 am (UTC)(link)
Oh yes to wild cottontail baby pics.

When I was a young girl, a mama rabbit had made a nest in our yard. She was killed by a car and her 4 babies were left alone. I borrowed my neighbors play army helmet and made a nest for them, and brought the babies inside. They slept in my room and I fed them warm milk from an eyedropper. My mother didn't find out for weeks, until they started hopping around my bedroom. I only lost one of them; the other 3 I returned to the outdoors and they hopped away.

[identity profile] tryst-inn.livejournal.com 2007-01-19 03:43 am (UTC)(link)
Awwww, I love those kinds of stories. Here's mine:

When I was about 8 years old we had a green house connected to our home, with a wood stove to keep it nice and cozy. One very, very cold morning we woke up to a small bunny family curled up against the door trying to get the heat that slipped through the crack.

My Dad opened the door, let the bunnies come inside and continued to read his paper. When I woke up, Mom told me to be quiet and took me into the greenhouse to watch the bunnies nursing in front of the woodstove. I spent all day curled up on a wicker sofa watching them, since my brother and sister were considered too young to behave and kept out of there.

We had those bunnies all winter, and come spring they wanted outside and we let them go. It was one of the most magic winters of my life. And set me up as a lagamorph lady now. :)

Check out the new baby cottontail pics!

[identity profile] keastree.livejournal.com 2007-01-19 03:22 am (UTC)(link)
Damn! Those are cute. :)

[identity profile] man-of-snows.livejournal.com 2007-01-19 07:33 am (UTC)(link)
Stop with the cuteness!!! I don't want to have to give up my bitterness just yet. >:)

Friday furry day, darling. *WEG*
