Full afternoon today, what with meeting with our tax accountant, spending hours at the hospital refilling prescriptions and getting to the post office before it closes. Before I head out, I wanted to post some pictures I've been promising folks. Sorry for the grainy pictures, my digital camera doesn't take good close up pictures and really just needs to be replaced.

"Here are the pictures promised of Josh's chainmail

The turquoise my Mum requested: this is a large necklace, 18 inches long with more than an inch thick weave with an underturn at the base.

The hematite necklace for my Aunt, a thinner necklace (different weave entirely) and 3/4 inch width. No underturn.

Also, since I'm running late in furkid pictures from last week:

Nicely done on the necklaces, and I can see now how Flash lures people into the shop. Love the picture with his paw up on the armrest of the chair. All he lacks is a cup of tea!

Josh still considers himself an amateur, but I think he does lovely work. I can't wait to see what he can do when he gets to intermediate!

Flash is a great marketing tool - we use him shamelessly! And yes, the paw up on the armrest had me puddled in an oozing puddle of awwwww. I'm still trying to figure out just how he managest to get up on tables all the time.

Pictures of bassets and bunnies are always welcome. :)

So you made those necklaces by yourself? Do you sell them? They're really nice.

Happy Valentine's Day.

Nope, Josh makes the necklaces - I just open the rings to prep them for him. Which frankly, is more than enough, three hours of opening rings makes my hands ache. We're considering selling them, if/when I ever get our website up and running.

Btw, sorry for the delay in replying, I never got an email from LJ and didn't find your post until I went through my LJ today. Weird.
