We have a vacancy at the Tryst Inn
Jun. 1st, 2005 10:57 pmMy dear, darling friend Seb came to visit yesterday, riding his bike to the ferry, crossing the water, then having me pick him up in our mid-size van (riigggght). Its taken less than two weeks for the hubby to sic the minivan on me, while he drives my sedan. Which was perfect for driving friends, dogs, bicycles, etc. around the Island and visiting friends on the mainland.
We spent a lovely day getting back in touch, discussing esoteric occult matters (but then, aren't they all?), folks we knew and my future within BTW. Good shit. Really good shit. Finally, someone in the ATC who can discuss BTW! ATC is 180 degrees off from BTW, so its nice to talk to someone who has done both! Lots of good advice, suggestions, etc.
All this while driving him around the Island (took him to the ELC at Deception Pass and we hiked around), showing off the house and furkids (he adored our doggies), drinking champagne and spending way too much time showing off my new hubby. Luckily, Seb and Josh hit it off perfectly...there was a bit of worry when you introduce your husband to one of your best (male) friends. I even got to introduce Seb to some of my pagan friends in the area, which is always wonderful to get your pagan friends together!
So, sadly, all good things must come to an end. So today, I drove Seb back to the ferry and let him go. though we have plenty of future plans in store, so (yippee!) many more plans for visits!
Which is probably just in time, since I spent the afternoon working on Sudoko puzzles. www.sudoku.com for those who don't read European newspapers. Give it a shot, be warned, its highly addictive.
Alicia is coming tomorrow, so I have to finish this puzzle and get to bed! Gonna be a long day while we prep for the transformation ahead this summer.
