Humpday here at witchcamp...

Ange and Katrina (not THAT one - another one) came over today to make incense, learn a knot magic technique and basically play "20 Questions for the BTW Seeker". All great stuff...other than the dueling cell phones (ladies, geez, wtf?)
Its always fun to drag the 150 plus glass jars out of the barrister cabinet and arrange them around the kitchen. Luckily, unlike my other homes, this house has a ten-but kitchen so there was plenty of room for the three of us and the dogs. Katrina kept looking around at all the ingredients and wailing "how do I choose?" as Ange and I laughed maniacally. I'm sure we were LOADS of help, hee hee.
After getting a mild chew out and challenge by the HP to make a correspondence specific Full Moon Incense, I finally took all the ingredients I had from the rather small lunar correspondence list from "A Compendium of Herbal Magick" by Paul Beyerl and mixed them together. Good stuff, but a tad bland. Now I'm wondering if others have had the same experience. Possibly its supposed to be "subtle" on purpose?
On that note - very behind with the "Ars Philtron" project. Which to say, I'll have it done in time for July 2nds NSDG, but JUST in time. Having massive issues with the photo editor program, must take a tutorial soonest. Very glad to have finished scanning and cleaning up the Outer Grove coursework for the HPs and sent that off.
Last night's Summer Solstice/Full Moon midnight ritual was a hoot! At some point, though, we're going to have a serious re-write of the ritual and try to take things a BIT more seriously! I've been looking around at various ritual scripts and nothing has really caught my eye. So, we'll probably go attack the books and see what we can come up with.
