1- Go to Google (http://www.google.com/)

2- Type in the word "Failure"

3- Instead of clicking "Google Search," click "I'm Feeling Lucky."

4- Spread the word before the people at Google "fix" it.

Last night we went out to the circle, lit the element and altar candles, went through a very simple Tree Meditation then performed a modified LBRP (modified in that its Wiccan derived, and a blinded format, given we had non-Initiates on circle). Everyone seemed to enjoy the meditations, especially the modified LBRP. We then did a very simple consecration of the sconces, thanked Tom for making them, did a quick grounding and left the circle. On a rogue note: you light that many candles and you can read comfortably in our circle. Hmn...

All in all, I think it turned out very nicely. Everyone was tired, we're a minimally diverse cross section of practitioners (two BTW Initiates, one BTW OG student and one eclectic). We're still on the "no energy work with others" requirement, so it was a fairly major undertaking to make a rite where folks could do individual but not group energy workings, while following the letter and spirit of the law, as it were.

Things at the bookstore have been going well, though one must admit my strengths appear to be talking folks into buying extra stuff, dusting (I'm the tallest), watering the plants (tallest, still) and re-organizing. The ancient cashier is giving me fits, I'm not very good at Apple, but at least its computerized. Hopefully, by the end of the week (as planned), I'll be ready to open the store myself. Yay, me. *yawn*

I'm realizing that the house is sort of uber quiet - its rather bizarre to fall asleep with four people in the house (Tom and Alicia have been in residence), then wake up to realize I'm alone here (plus furkids, obviously). So a few cups of coffee, a shower, some blogging later - its still very quiet.

As I'm shopping for a Secret Santa (now, what would pagans call this, I wonder?) gift for someone who is really into computers, I'm finding all these gag gifts and quotes that are hysterical. Some, obviously, are fairly common and we've heard before, but given here on the off chance you haven't.
