Lovely bunch of coconuts . . .
May. 21st, 2007 05:09 pmManaged to transfer 1/2 of the Pimsluer Hebrew tapes to MP3s today. Would have gotten them all done, but using the iMic on the iPod seems to eat up the battery. Now I'm tempted to do the same with the Irish and French tapes hanging about. I've been recording them back in the Temple, as it's the quietest room in our home. At this point, Fudge (the cat) is quite conversant in conversational Hebrew now - being able to recognize "I am American" and "I speak a little Hebrew". Every time I go in there to start another tape, he looks up at me from his chair with a rather quizzical expression as if to say "now, why am I doing this? Are we moving to Israel soon and nobody has told me?"
Found a lovely audio file shareware program to edit them, WavePad. Easy stuff, even without a tutorial. Its those long pauses at the beginning and end that make the files sloppy, IMHO, so its lovely to get rid of them with a few clicks. Heck, at this point, I could probably create my own Podcasts with this baby!
About what, I haven't a clue.
