With Alicia and Jen here last night, we managed to get a hell of a lot of work done. Because I am
highly
sensitive to chemicals, I have a very hard time cleaning bathrooms. I use white vinegar, which I'm not sensitive to, but it doesn't really do the job. So once or twice a month Deb comes over and turns the master bathroom into an ecological disaster. Gonna be another twelve hours of airing it out before I can walk in there without my skin breaking out in a rash. Does anyone have any product ideas, possibly organic? Something especially great on mold, since that bathroom seems to have a love affair with spores. Yes, I can open the windows more but this is the Pacific Northwest. Its more humid outside than in.

The problem with this house isn't so much the square footage. We've 1200 sq feet which in Washington terms is really quite good, but there are so many tiny rooms in this house. Each with oddly angled walls and huge windows, which make furniture placement difficult. So we're constantly experimenting with function and placement of furniture. For example: We moved the witchcraft herb cabinet from the foyer to the Temple, replacing in with a bookshelf. Moved the dining room table out of the front room and replaced it with another bookshelf. Moved the Spotted Devils cage from the foyer to the front room and put the dining room table in the foyer, which should make incense making much more efficient now that I no longer have to move everything into the front room or use the kitchen counters.

Meanwhile, of course, with DB and Kiya coming - both vacuums have died. I don't know enough about either to fix them, so Deb is coming over in a few hours with her vacuum. More and more I believe the Gods want me to have a Roomba. Its a sign I tell you.
