A bit of British English help
Nov. 8th, 2007 01:49 pmI'm a huge fan of "Top Gear" on BBC, which I watch via YouTube. Every now and again, however, a bit of slang remains elusive to every attempt to translate it. If you're a Brit, or know the British slang, would you please assist? If you aren't, make your best guess, will ya?
"Earn a bit of badge" or "Sure to get a lot of badge."
"We should have him turfed."
"I'm staggered"
"Handy bit of kit"
Possibly more to come, still catching up on Season 10.
