Too pooped to pop - updates
Dec. 8th, 2007 01:24 pmAn exhausting week, as I'm still recovering from that horrid cold. Quite a few orders to get out Monday (thank you, thank you, thank you) and errands to be run. Horrid command party last night, though at least it didn't start with a prayer to Jesus and Hannukah and Yule were specifically mentioned multiple times. However, there was way tooooo much Karaoke: Karaoke + Sailors + Alcohol = EVIL. All that said, our table played several fabulous rounds of Hearts and ignored the nutjobs around us fairly well.
Quick update on the baby buns, who are insanely fuzzy-faced, chubby and all that jazz:
Cadbury's ears have both lopped. This is insanely cute.
Only one of Clover's ears have lopped. (She's attempting to make a right turn)
Mistletoe's ears are stuck at 180 degrees, she's a fuzzy little airplane.
Kodiak's show no signs of loppage, but he's showing signs of possible future mane growth.
For reasons I'm very unclear about, Fudge (our long-suffering cat) has taken up babysitting duties on top of Thistle's cage to supervise them. o__0 The baby buns are huge eaters and have taken to napping in the empty food bowls. Insanely cute bunny pics to be posted later today.
Josh is back from a few days on the Lincoln. Poor guy is slaving away under the house. Flash, who loves being under the house, is helping by scouting the area and licking Josh's protective eyewear clean. Or something. I just keep hearing "Flash, knock it off!" and "Flash, stop licking my ears, you fiend!" through the floor. There's the slightest chance we may have a working woodstove this weekend.
We've been receiving Temple re-dedication gifts. So far my favorite is a fogger bowl, for the west quarter. Essentially a frosted blue glass bowl with a changing light source in the bottom that makes copious amounts of fog from regular tap water. Gorgeous stuff and sparkly. So we're all ready to do a disco ritual should the need arise.
