Poor hubby has been snaking all the drains in the house. Sadly necessary since his wife has several feet of hair and lots of it. The length of my hair has more to do with the fact that I can never decide on what to do with it and there's just enough people in my life who like crazy, wavy anti-gravity Irish hair to make me thankful for it. I still find it odd that strangers will come up to me and touch my hair, while friends have an orgy with it. So when you see me with my hair pulled back tight and neat, those are the likely reasons why.

Tomorrow evening he's going to snake the master bathroom shower drain and I need to be anywhere other than here. *wince* There's going to be crazed Irish husband yelling, I just know it. I've made him promise that he won't yell AT me.

Despite all my best efforts, my backup system for the computers is still insanely inadequate. The software that came with my external hard drive was promised to be a full version, but instead is trial. Ugh. Which means it was holding my data hostage until I pay out $40 for the full version. I've been working on it for days now, with no real end in sight. Though I have, for the record, made subsequent non-software dependent backups.

Sorry for the tunnel vision folks, I'm hoping to pop out of this phase any day now.

Patrick, our neighbor to the North, has really stepped up the pace on building his new garage. I guess I was expecting a single story, single car unattached garage. This thing, however, is taller than either of our homes, two bays and likely a 2nd floor loft for storage. I'm making these assumptions by the structural supports, which are finally up.

It's looming over the new Bunhalla and the rabbits are decidedly disapproving about all the construction noise. Which begins before dawn and continues after sunset. I'm not complaining, because after all, Patrick has put up with Flash's howling, Bunhalla being right up against the property line and a myriad of other noises like our bonfire drumming circles.

One can hope that the new garage lights won't be as intrusive as his front porch light.
