Beautiful evening, then crappy morning
Jul. 1st, 2010 11:59 amWe had a last minute change in plans last night due to the tour bringing the kids back really late, so instead of letting that ruin our evening we planned a new adventure by heading up to Deception Pass to hike around with Jason.
Granted, I'm not hiking much with my toe still broken. Instead of heading up Goose Hill with the guys, I hung around the bridge stairs and found a downed cedar. Stretched out on my back along it's trunk and meditated until Josh and Jason returned.
When we got home, we raced around before sunset putting the chickens we're keeping in the coop with our home flock for the night, rolled up the temporary fencing and tidied up the side yard. Cross your fingers for us that we'll have a peaceful time of incorporating the new gals with our existing ones.
This morning I woke up with my sinuses inflamed and generally feeling like crap. Not good, I have two papers to write between now and Tuesday. Ugh.
