Saturday, done!
May. 14th, 2011 10:02 pmWoke up with an unproductive cough and a low grade fever, which necessitated a lazy morning napping into early afternoon. Kevin finally made it over to my house so we could load up the pickup, drive over to Tiger's and load up her trash cans, then off to the dump.
I've been popping inhalant without much relief, may need to see the doctors before I head to the Northeast. At this point, it may be the Scotch Broom blooming due to the unusual run of sunny weather we've enjoyed. Of course, today the rains returned. We even drove through some hail this evening.
We had decided earlier to drive over to the Mainland for dinner and a bit of clothes shopping at the outlets. I introduced Kevin to Sakura, a wonderful Sushi & Hibachi place in Burlington. We found Kevin a bunch of new shirts at the Eddie Bauer store and me two summer-weight jackets for my trip.
Came home to some very hungry Bassets and a very happy Gracie, who'd been hanging out with her pal BooBoo much of the day. Even Doodle is chipper tonight. Unfortunately, BooBoo had to go home with Kevin tonight, so its just us four. I'm going to try a hot bath to soothe my lungs, then off to bed. Tomorrow Flash and I will be in the Bookstore and I'll be packing for my trip when we get home.
