The saga of Ella closes

Earlier this year, I wrote about my sister's and her fiancee's great dane, Ella, who needed spinal surgery to correct a genetic disease that was slowly paralyzing her. The surgery did not go well, she's now completely paralyzed. Emily is en route to Boston to be with Ella when she's put down.

We'd appreciate a candle lit for Emily, her Josh and Ella.

I've always loved this picture of her (and her boys), that trademark grin pretty much sums of her personality.
