Baby bunnies
Nov. 28th, 2007 12:48 pmI'm involved with an epic struggle wit Foxie to allow me to see the babies. Being a good mommy, she's trying to keep her little darlings away from me and three roaming canine carnivores. I've added a small water bottle to the cage, since the babies are attempting to eat hay. It will be awhile, I'm sure, before they use it for its intended purpose but they are sniffing about and curious. Especially Kodiak, who is the king of the baby binkies! I'm trying to catch it on video, will post as soon as I do. Josh has completely fallen for Kodiak, so I figure s/he'll be our keeper out of the litter. Such a chatty little guy, I'll be posting videos of his little gurgles and clicks.
I've been re-reading the "Hebrew Goddess" by Raphael Patai, as I recently purchased the third edition. Lots of thinking to do, not sure if anyone would be interested in some of the more esoteric aspects of polytheistic biblical Judaism. I have always hated Deuteronomy, as its always seemed intensely over-reactionary, so I have little trouble ignoring it now that I'm better versed on its strange history. Frankly, its not that much more bizarre than the Book of Mormon coming from a man under a sheet in someone's kitchen.
