Tracker update

As we feared and suspected, the cancer has indeed returned and with a vengeance, attacking his lymphatic system. We could run some tests to prove what we already know and medicate with prednisone, but at best he'd only have a month and a bad month at that. He is almost completely blind, lost more than twenty-five pounds since the infection in his leg this fall, cold to the touch and suffering. Tomorrow morning first thing we have an appointment to release Tracker to the Bridge.

Probably not going to be able to respond to everyone's comments for awhile, I know everyone will understand.

I'm sorry to hear that. Tracker is a lovely dog, and will be missed by many more than your own family, but this is as much a testament to how well he lived his life as anything. My thoughts and prayers will be with all of you over the next few days.
