You'll think I'm a bit nuts, but I do have a suggestion which will make things fun *and* wind up with a blessing.
Have your cauldron loaded with eggs filled with blessings or goodies, but save some and make it a game to find the cauldron.
Start with an egg which contains a clue. The clue, which may be a pictogram, word puzzle, pun, or something which must be found in a book, would lead to another egg, which is hidden. That egg is also filled with a clue . . . and so on. The final egg will lead back to the cauldron of eggs. The group must work as a team, so you'll want to make sure that each clue-containing egg allows for the strengths of individual members, so everyone has a chance to do an a-ha! And it must be done as a group - this isn't a competition.
I used to do this for Evan when he was little, and we had him running all over the house and yard finding things. He loved it, and so did we.
