Exhausted, but grinning
Apr. 13th, 2008 03:15 pmPaula, Daniel and teenage son Sean came to visit for the evening and night. A sort of trial run on having Ruth and Mr. Ruth (teehee) come visit in May. We gave them and their pooches the back part of the house and settled in the den for the evening. The kid, but of course, we stuck in the RV - he had a great time, with a night visit from Fudgie who was completely annoyed by the lack of admittance to his Temple and bathroom.
Made a fresh batch of scones (from mix, mea culpa) with dark chocolate chips this morning for breakfast. Not as light and buttery as mine, sadly, but didn't have time for fully homemade. Having that slightly numb sensation in my fingertips again, annoyingly, so I wasn't up for the usual scone mashing anyway. I keep thinking I must be sleeping on them at night, given that I have low blood pressure I doubt its hypertension.
Flash is exhausted, as am I. Gracie, of course, still has energy to burn!

Re: numbies
Date: 2008-04-14 04:30 am (UTC)I had a full cardio workup in 2006, so I'm hoping the old ticker is still going strong. My BP was a bit higher (I'm usually 90/60) following deployment, but even by anyone's standards normal.
