Yesterday, the coven Elders came over for our lessons (we're rather spoiled!) and so, of course, we showed off the work done in the circle and showed them the pictures. We're all confuddled as to precisely what causes those bubbles everywhere, as we took more photos and keep getting the same results when you stand in the South. Very odd.

So while I was busy copying (note to self: buy arthritis pads for pens) everyone went down the the beach and gathered stones, added them to the stones we found while building the circle and they FINISHED THE SPIRAL WALK! I'm stoked (not a term I typically use, granted). The spiral is gorgeous and absolutely delightful. Its going to take some judicious raking to get rid of the pinecones, sticks and other debris that the wind throws into the spiral, but it just wonderful.

Jack just arrived and the boys are hard at work playing "Axis & Allies: Europe" and discussing their plans for the two gates for the circle. We need two gates; one in the Northeast (for entry/exit), another in the Northwest (to the firepit) with lintels over each. So there's some major pow-wow'ing going on. I, of course, am still hanging about in my pj's and plaid robe. Another coffee or three and I'll be ready to settle in for a good read. *yawn*
