I entirely agree with your sentiments, at least, on a theoretical basis.

Howsomever, I already have one redhead at home, who is a slightly better pistol shot than I am, and I have no doubt that you know the etymology of the Chinese ideograph for "trouble." So in my case the whole thing needs must stay strictly theoretical.

And yes, the walk is a thing of beauty and a joy forever. There is a line from an old Alfred Bester story ("The Pie Man," I think the title is,) which it brings to mind:
