We took Flash and Gracie for a walk tonight and Libby decided to follow us. She bounded along in people's yards (there's no sidewalks in our neighborhood), racing in and out of fences, bounding over rocks, hassling our neighbor's sheep, and chasing cottontails.

Poor Flash was besides himself with anxiety, he kept looking over his shoulder to whine at her to keep up. About halfway home she got tired, so Josh carried her the rest of the way.

Awww, that is too cute! I was watching that new show on Animal Planet, Dogs 101. One of the breeds they showcased in tonight's show was the basset.

Of course I thought of your boy :)

Our boy is stretched out melting in front of the blazing woodstove.

I'm going to have to check out that show, thanks!

My first husband and I took a lot of walks in our neighborhood with the dog and cat. Neither was leashed. It was always a great deal of fun.

I miss both of those furbeasts.

We leash Flash so we don't have to call in the National Guard to find him in the fields. Gracie, of course, is perfectly behaved without the leash.

Thank you. Its always good to know one's furkids have touched others.
