Libby had a small, struggling something in the kitchen, so I ran in and yanked her off of it. It then, to thank me for saving it's life ran/fluttered somewhere and you just know I'm either a) going to find it dead somewhere or b) it will run over my foot and scare me to death in the process.

Libby is, rather understandably, completely disappointed with me now. She's back on the hunt looking for it somewhere between the kitchen and the dining room.

*nail biting*

Update: the bird got behind the sofa (don't ask) and has been released into the front yard.

Be careful, maybe burn some spiritual cleansing incense.

For us, a bird that flies into the house doesn't get to leave it again because we say it brings tragedy, but doesn't take it away when it flies out - hence, *snap* the tragedy falls on the bird.

You are so mean to your cat! Mojo is strictly indoor so we usually have to import moths and grasshoppers for him. He takes care of the gnats, flies, and spiders all by himself.
