trystinnWe had a local daycare come by this afternoon to play with the rabbits (feed them carrots, essentially) and learn a bit about ducks. The kids were so cute, hesitantly touching the ducks I held for them, asking about the different breeds, etc. I don't put pics of other people's children online, so here's pics of the ducks!
Here's Phyllis Ducker and her unusually large poof (crest). You can see the blue tinge coming in on their backs and there's a slight greenish cast to their heads (which may mean they are drakes, but too soon to tell!). You can see Brutus' (Rouen) beautiful blue striped wings in the pic, too:
Our white & buff Runner really stands out in the group, she can be hard to photograph since the sun really catches her white feathers. The flock on the move:
