Playing Catch Up

Yesterday was crazy. I had a dozen errands to run for Joshua and so had to run after lunch with
unique_thesame and her family. Managed to get his uniform items, Watchmen DVDs and shower curtains at the Navy Exchange, thankfully. Due to some odd space-time continuum issue, my pharmacy didn't have my script refill requests on file so I had to request them again and pick them up next week. This I find out after waiting an hour to talk to someone at the Pharmacy. *sigh* Managed to get to the bank and library before either closed, a miracle in itself.
I expect we'll be seeing eggs in the next few weeks from the Khaki Campbells. The Rouens and Swedes are now larger than the older Campbells, which isn't surprising given that they are heavyweight breeds.
A little duck update:
9 weeks old Swedes
12 weeks old Rouens & Runner
15 weeks old Khaki Campbells
Insomnia kicked in rather hard last night, so much organizing was done. The occult library is now organized by use, which seems quite intuitive in retrospect. I've tried a few variants on that theme: by author name, subject, favorites, etc. We'll see how this works.
I received an email from Mum, reminding me that we need to start going over options for the

Annual Sweater Buy
. Oy. For those not familiar, my mother likes to buy us all sweaters every year and has a particular fondness for choosing overly large, bulky and fairly frumpy sweaters. So what typically happens is I choose one, which she orders along with one of her choosing. Needless to say, it's gotten to the point where I open the box from Woolrich's in rising horror each year. This year, I've chosen a fairly simple zip up sweater. My best bet is mother will go for this one, which concerns me as there's no full length picture.

Definitely that many, she sends multiple boxes every time she redecorates, shops, cleans out closets, etc.
