trystinnMy interview went great - should hear something early next week about whether the job is mine or not.
But before the interview - let me tell you about the drama.
It was a very cold morning on Tuesday, so I went out early to get the car warmed up. But Luna wouldn't start. So I went inside after about five minutes oftrying to call J. He came home from work to pick me up, I dropped him back off at the base and THEN went to my interview....I so detest driving his truck! Hard to complain, but geez!
So Tuesday night he came home very stressed out from returning to work, so I said let the car go. Wednesday night he came home all revved up to work on the car, so he yanked out the battery and alternator (I stayed inside where its warm!) then we took them to the car parts store for testing. Seems the battery cold crank amps were gone, but the alternator was just fine. So back to the apartment, re-install the alternator, put the new battery in - SUCCESS!
So, I have my car back, ready to go...but nowhere to go. Just waiting on Pinky to call so we can hit a few stores, etc. today.
Then, just for fun - Gracie's tummy is upset, so I've been running with her to the backdoor all morning (YUCK). Fudgie is having a ball, so he waits until she runs by the table, then he leans over and wacks the dog with his paw...kinda typical Fudgie behavior here. He does the same to the buns.
Still arguing with Verizon wireless, over that damn cell phone. The first hour of every call is getting them to recognize I'm authorized on this account. Then we argue about when the contract expired, etc. I will never do business with them, again.
ARGH...
