It's always the basset's fault

It's not that I mind that Doodle loves carrots. I think it's a bit peculiar that he loves carrots, but this is the same dog who dances around begging for cardboard toilet paper and paper towel rolls. He's weird. Flash is weird. Tracker was weird. Bassets, near as I call tell, are universally weird. Then again, I'm kinda weird, too.

The problem I have is he's always begging for carrots when I'm enjoying a late night munch. Which makes the other dogs beg for carrots and now I've got 6 rabbits and 3 dogs eating my late night munchies snack.

We're gonna need more carrots.

Every dog I've known well has loved raw veggies. One of the funniest moments involved broccoli and a stand-off between my mother's Cairn terrier and my former m-i-l's black Lab. The terrier won. :-)
