No Room at the Inn

synapsepi came to help me pick up the 7 new ducks: 2 Blue Swedes, 3 Khaki Campbells and 2 Swede/Campbell crosses. I'm ridiculously impressed by the very silvery Blue Swedes, so I was thrilled to get all 7 for $20.

That's where things got a little nutty. Seems the five chickens who were their buddies wanted to come, too. I wasn't sure about this but then synapsepi dared me and I was sunk.

You're a bad influence. I told my mom I wanted ducks today. I think we've agreed we'll get at least one - all dead and ready for eatings! :D Now we'll see if I can work on getting the greyhound (Not dead though. That would defeat the purpose...)

They were in this tiny rabbit cage in the back of the pickup, I felt so bad for them. :(

I couldn't have left them either. It's just not right for them to be caged like that.
