Guaranteed to make you hungry

Less than a week's worth of eggs, the dark brown is from our new chickens:

In order, left to right, small egg (likely a Khaki Campbell), one of our home flock Swedes or Rouen egg, a truly large new Swedish egg and a chicken egg:

So, what do duck eggs taste like? I've never had one...

Very rich and very sweet (right now the ducks are eating a lot of blackberry bushes), the trick is figuring out how to cook with them properly as they are also denser. For quiche, for example, we cook them about 10 minutes less than we would with chicken eggs.

Bring up a little container on Wednesday, we'll set you up with some. :)
