For the furkid fans, here's yet another shot of Flash with his favorite chick. Warning: I have dozens, he's very photogenic!

I want to brag outrageously about Gracie for a moment. We've had a Black Copper Maran hen missing for a few days now. I assumed she was under a shed or something, perhaps hiding out in one of the rabbit dens. I wasn't too worried about it. This morning that confidence bore out, as I was chatting with the Farm Minion Gracie came bustling out of the bushes pushing the missing hen before her. Funniest thing I've seen in ages. Unlike most chickens, this one wasn't running from Gracie's herding. Instead, she sort of stood there defiantly then had to continously re-position herself as Gracie bumped her out towards the duck pen. I imagine she was thinking "I'm not moving. Okay, I'm moving but I'm not moving again. Fine, I moved, last time though." the whole while.

Gracie has earned herself a brand new tennis ball!
