The Plot Thickens

I called Ortho at 7am, only to be told they hadn't had a chance to look at my xrays and I should call back in an hour. I did so, only to be told they still hadn't and I should call back. *sigh* Another 1/2 hour later, I called back and was told they couldn't possibly fit me in and I should come in on Monday midday. *even bigger sigh*
Listen, I've tried being the nice polite Navy wife on this. But I'm not spending another 3 days with a dislocated toe. If I do so, it will have been a week since the dislocation. In the meanwhile, I've left a message for my regular doctor and contacted Tricare and left a negative review for Ortho. (Interesting note: their 'timely appointment" rating was only 34% so this appears to be an ongoing issue.)
Hubby is en route home to take me to the civilian ER.
So yes, more to come.

(not that I've seen scans or anything - but if it's just dislocation - then yeah it should be quick to treat)
good luck!
